The L'Hexagone team uses the strictest of selection criteria to bring only the highest quality wines from France to the L'Hexagone boutique. Most importantly, the wines must please the most discriminating of palates. This implies that all of the winemakers featured at L'Hexagone practice either biodynamic cultivation, organic agriculture (bio, or “agriculture biologique” (AB), or “la lutte raisonnée”/“viticulture raisonnable” in the fields, and who minimize/eliminate additions and alterations during the vinification process.
We promote only the top winemakers adhering to the highest standard of ethics. They put forth the extra work and effort during the year to maintain as much as possible the natural chemical balances between land and air and take a "passive," more natural (for example, little to no SO2 being used) approach during vinification to allow the wine to reflect its place of origin. The result of these high standards creates more unique and complex tasting wines that express individuality and character.
