Intense purple robe, rich nose, very ripe and complex, elegant use of wood and superb notes of peony. Fleshy in the mouth with thick tannins, beautiful fruit and a fresh and vigorous final. Great elegance.

Quite complex both in the mouth and on the nose, very well proportioned, very distinguished on the finale, by far and away the best wine ever produced by the château and one of the dominant cru bourgeois of the vintage.
