The La Fermade Rosé comes from vines grown in a pebbly, sandy soil situated on the hillsides of Saint Laurent des Arbres. The avg. age of the vines is 30 years old, and the yield is a miniscule 19hl/ha! Vinification includes de-stemming, cold maceration for 1 day, fermentation at a low temperature, and no malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in inox tanks. Annual production: 5.800 bottles.
The wine appears as a brilliant pink bonbon, with an intense nose of red fruits emphasized by a touch of minerality. The mouth is ample and generous, and finishes on a more lively note at the finale that highlights the aromas of fresh fruits. A rosé especially well-suited for a meal of “tajine d'agneau.” Food Accompaniment: Can be drunk as an aperitif, but will show its best during meals such as “des plats à base de saumon ou des viandes blanches. Optimal service temperature: 11C-14C
