Nicolas Grobois is one of the up and coming stars in Chinon. The Grosbois family produces 4 cuvées, vinified by geographic parcel. The most complex of his cuvées, the Vieilles Vignes represents a chinon with purity and freshness, hiding an underlying complexity which achieves great balance. Notes of chalk, and a touch of sweetness are met on the finish. A very delicious and well-constructed wine!
