Celine and her brother Jean-Jacques Lacoste are the 3rd generation of winemakers coming from a family that started the operation in 1946. The vineyards cover approximately 20 hectares in Pomport and 10 hectares in Monbazillac.

Soil/terroir: The vineyards are perched atop a gentle hill composed of a lower base of white limestone and calcareous clay soil with vines ranging from 40-70 years old. The original château has endured since the 100 Years War around the year 1400 and wines were already being made at that time.

Vinification: Hand harvested and carefully selected grapes, temperature controlled fermentation with long maceration. Maturing in partially new french oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.

Taste: A rich and complex bouquet of citrus fruits (grapefruit and lemon), spring blossoms, with a sophisticated and well-integrated wood component. Full and voluminous with good balance and concentration in the mouth, combining nice fattiness with fine minerality and a long finish. Comparable to the top white Pessac-Léognans. The wine is only made in the top years.

Food Accompaniment: Delicious with fish dishes in sauce but also with lobster, also goes well with a farmer's chicken and veal dishes. Soft white cheeses also go well with this rich wine.
